Savage Beauty // Book Poster

Savage Beauty is a poster design for the book, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, that was published to coincide with an exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The poster is an abstract blend of references to McQueen’s collections and the published book. Layered over the monotone design is a collection of book reviews in a deep red color meant to mimic the iconic fringed body suit that closed Alexander McQueen’s Fall 1998 Ready-To-Wear collection.
